climbing, swimming and splashing in a cool, fresh river. Professional guides take you on a tour of a lifetime when you indulge in this unique experience. Suitable for most fitness levels.
Whale Watching
Whale watching ranks at the top of the list for exciting excursions. Who wouldn’t get caught up in the spectacle of seeing these majestic giants up close and personal? Dominica’s temperate seas and underwater contours are ideal for hosting numerous whale population.
You’ll hear plenty of whale talk in Dominica. It’s not hyperbole to say that Dominica can stake a claim to being The Whale-watching Capital of the Caribbean. Twenty-two species of whales and dolphins have been identified in the island’s waters, primarily Scotts Head, where waters plunge to 6.000 feet.
Water Sports
Windsurfing, water-skiing, parasailing, and jet-skiing are activities that are regularly offered at the more popular beaches. Rental and instruction tend to be fairly inexpensive.
Underwater Adventures
Our underwater adventure is for the person who loves macro photography, calm water, great vistas, healthy reefs and short rides to dive sites. Underwater the scenery is just as exciting and varied as our onland adventure. Rated as one of the top dive spots
in the world, we also have a deserved reputation as the best place to see whales and dolphins in the Caribbean. Expect to see some of the largest mammals in the sea on a sperm whale watching expedition along the west coast of the island. You will see many small critters under water, from seahorses to rainbow crinoids.
Boiling Lake
The Boiling Lake Hike ranks as one of Dominica's most demanding trails, with good reason—three hours to the lake and three hours back over some challenging terrain. This well-maintained trail
begins at approximately 1,600 ft, where a level stretch of rocky pathway blends alternately with wooden steps. But don't be fooled by the flat beginning—it grows steeper. Although this is a strenuous trail, the trip is among the best ways to experience the rainforest of the Caribbean’s Nature Island. See and hear rainforest birds and other rare tropical animals while truly experiencing the heart of the island. Do not attempt this difficult trail without a local guide.
Our many WaterFalls
WaterFalls?, considering Dominica has 365 rivers, it's no surprise it has an abundance of waterfalls. (Trafalgar, Middleham. Emerald Pool, Sari-Sari, Victoria, Space Mountain Falls, Spanny Twin Falls and Boli Falls) including those not mentioned here.
Boli Falls
A hike for advanced hikers which lasts about 5 hours in total. The walk begins in the beautiful village of La Plaine, and is one of the most spectacular and lesser known sites of Dominica,
passing through unspoilt rainforest you arrive at 3 stunning waterfalls and some gorgeous natural pools. According to local legend, you may get the chance to see a mermaid or two.
Space Mountain Falls
This cascade of five totally different waterfalls, gushing ferociously from great heights, lies hidden deep in the mountains directly behind 3 Rivers. After a two or three hour hike through the awe-inspiring forest, you arrive at the lowest of the five falls. To reach the rest you must climb the rocks at the edge of falls. Not too easy, but well worth the effort. A good way to get the most from these falls is to camp overnight in the forest and return slowly the next afternoon. We can supply you with food, a guide, and camping equipment, if you so wish.
Sari Sari and Victoria Falls
These are two of Dominica's most famous falls. Reached after hiking for about an hour
from La Plain and Delices, both of which are a short drive or bus ride from 3 Rivers. The actual trails involve quite a lot of river walking, and are prone to wet and slippery stones! As long as you take your time you will be fine, and both of these gorgeous places will leave you with fond, lasting memories.
The Rain Forest Aerial Tram
The Rain Forest Aerial Tram offers you a new attraction geared towards experiencing the rainforest’s flora and fauna, while you glide through the treetops over streams and waterfalls, across the Breakfast River Gorge from your very own Canopy Gondola. What you experience on this trip through the rainforest will be an experience that is spectacular and unforgettable.

The Rain Forest Aerial Tram is comprised of 22 gondolas, each holding 8 passengers plus a naturalist guide, who has the expertise not only on the general history of Dominica but also on the very unique flora and fauna that is seen as you travel on the tram. All the safety features necessary to make the ride safe and your experience unforgettable have been carefully thought out and designed. We also have the Chatannier Nature Trail that winds up through the forest so you can admire the diverse plants with palm like fronds, and the root structure of many trees.
